Dual Plate Check Valve Supplied Across Australia

The dual plate check valve is named for the two discs it uses to block flow. Dual plate check valves use a spring to move discs backwards either onto the seats to block reverse flow or off the seats to allow forward flow. Wafer or flange connections can be used. At Dewater Products, we supply dual check valves and other pipeline equipment for a variety of applications. Contact us today for more information.

Size range: DN40 to DN1200

Easy assembly double check valves

Check valves protect your drive system and pump by preventing the fluid from flowing in the reverse direction. Because the dual discs only open in one direction, fluid is only allowed to travel in the desired direction. The force of the fluid opens the discs, which are attached to a spring with a self-shutting function to ensure the valve is closed when nothing is in the pipeline. The spring is designed to ensure it does not hinder flow efficiency when fluid is travelling through the pipeline.

The spring is an important part of dual plate valves and its lifespan will be greatly increased if it is made from 316 stainless steel. The seal is also imperative for the prevention of fluid leaking past the discs; seal and seat materials can be resilient or hard-wearing depending on the application. Viton is an excellent example of a hard-wearing material appropriate for this valve.
