PTFE Lined Rubber Expansion Joint FSF

PTFE lined rubber expansion joints are available in Australia with free delivery*. We supply PTFE lined rubber expansion joints to all cities in Australia, Perth, Adelaide, Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, Darwin, Canberra and Hobart.

The PTFE teflon lining will protect the rubber expansion joint in chemical, acid and high/low temperature applications.

PTFE linings will cause reduced levels of allowable movement in the rubber expansion joint, so we recommed installing control rods with PTFE lined rubber expansion joints. Contact us for more information.

When a rubber expansion joint is lined with a PTFE teflon lining, all of the properties of PTFE teflon will help the rubber expansion joint perform. Useful when transferring chemicals, acids, corrosives and other hazardous materials through a pipeline.

PTFE has the following properties:

- Good thermal stability, high temperature resistance, good for a maximum temperature of 260 degrees celcius, and a low temperature of minus 200 degrees celcius.

- Non-sticking surface

- Very low co-efficient of friction

- Resistant to corrosive fluids and some chemical attack.

The Industrial Applications where PTFE lined rubber bellows can be used include:

Paper mills, chemical plants, desalination plants, fertilizers and process plants with chemicals or high or low temperatures.
